the synesthesia of

ruiner

ruiner

The story behind Ruiner is quite a lengthy one. I will refrain from sharing the story for two reasons; one, because it is not copyrighted, and two, because it would take about 20 pages to summarize. Instead, I will contain it to an easily consumable outline.

Ruiner is set on a battlefield. It is truly the image of a perfect, grand final battle set in a fantasy world. I see a looming castle painted in the background of this epic scene. Dragons screech across the sky, a strange army makes a final, futile stand against their enemy, vivid flashes of light explode from a figure who moves faster than the eye can track, and three great creatures wreak endless havoc upon their surroundings. It smells like blood, metal, smoke, fire, leather and animals both from this world and from my own.

Of course, this song ends in a showdown between two great forces. Who prevails? You are yet to find out.
